Feeling Safe Affirmation Meditation
At times in our life, we can all experience a sensation of feeling frightened. It can be triggered by certain people or derive from being in a particular environment. It may be that you have never felt safe growing up, a feeling of uncertainty and dread being part of your life for as long as you can remember. Or perhaps a particular life event has left you holding onto a sense of anxiety, anxiety that has become trapped in the body’s energy, leaving you with heightened alertness of the possibility that a reoccurrence could occur at any time.
I designed my Feeling Safe Affirmation Meditation to restore the body and mind to a place of inner peace and security. Feeling safe in our body is imperative to lowering levels of Cortisol, a stress hormone that has a detrimental effect on the body if consistently high for a prolonged period of time. Also lowering levels of anxious thought in the mind will give way to clarity and reason which will lead to developing a more positive and optimistic mindset.
