Do you trust others? Growing up we learn from our experience of other people whether we will instinctively trust others or if we will instinctively fear how others will treat us. The view we form, again early in our development, can drastically interfere with our interpersonal relationships if it has been a negative experience. An instinctive fear of people’s intentions towards us will lead to defensiveness and a tendency to keep people at a distance, while constantly assessing others for danger forms within us a negative view of humanity. Continually looking for and logging the worst qualities in people severely impacts our potential for creating meaningful relationships in our life. “When focused on the dark we will fail to see the light.” (paulmalloncounselling, 2020)
My View of Others Affirmation Meditation focuses on building trust. You will affirm a view of others that reflects the experience of being supported and cared for by all people. Do you feel wronged in life and unable to let it go? Are you holding onto resentment for the past hurt? Holding onto past hurts can make our body suffer sickness, tiredness, and pain. Carrying resentment can feel like a millstone around our neck but the task of letting go can also feel beyond us and out of our control.
My Releasing Judgement Meditation introduces the body and mind to a new relationship with our sense of being victimized. You will set a definite intention to release all pain and judgment relating to any hurt present within your body and mind. You will choose to let go, not because you need to offer forgiveness but because you love and respect yourself too much to carry this negative energy anymore. It is truly time to let go and feel lighter!!!Learn More
At times in our life, we can all experience a sensation of feeling frightened. It can be triggered by certain people or derive from being in a particular environment. It may be that you have never felt safe growing up, a feeling of uncertainty and dread being part of your life for as long as you can remember. Or perhaps a particular life event has left you holding onto a sense of anxiety, anxiety that has become trapped in the body’s energy, leaving you with heightened alertness of the possibility that a reoccurrence could occur at any time.
I designed my Feeling Safe Affirmation Meditation to restore the body and mind to a place of inner peace and security. Feeling safe in our body is imperative to lowering levels of Cortisol, a stress hormone that has a detrimental effect on the body if consistently high for a prolonged period of time. Also lowering levels of anxious thought in the mind will give way to clarity and reason which will lead to developing a more positive and optimistic mindset.Learn More
Influenced by our environment and the people within it we establish our personal sense of value and worth at an early stage of our psychological development. An experience growing up of unconditional love and acceptance will cultivate a healthy sense of self-worth while the opposite can be true of an unsupportive environment growing up. Self-worth has a big role to play in how we experience relationships as the vast majority of people will take your lead in how they relate to you. This basically means the value you hold for yourself will be mirrored in the relationships you have. I know at times this may be difficult to accept for some people, taking responsibility for how others generally relate to us can be difficult to bear, but the truth is, to accept this as your truth means that the quality of our relationships is in our own hands and for one will always embrace having control of my interpersonal experience.
My Self-Worth Affirmation Meditation brings you to a place of validation and acceptance. During this meditation, you will introduce your body and mind to the affirming qualities of unconditional love and the unquestionable value your thoughts and words have for the people that surround you, just as it should be!!!Learn More
Are you comfortable looking in the mirror? Are you proud of your achievements? Are you constantly striving for perfection and betterment in your life without ever achieving it? Learning to embrace all of who we are in every given moment is a large component of achieving inner joy and contentment. Without true self-acceptance, we are constantly fighting an internal battle where we seek to grasp an elusive sense of personal validation. This creates an inner flux that can physically and emotionally wear us down and lead to what is commonly referred to as burnout.
During my Self-Acceptance Affirmation Meditation, you will learn to confirm a new relationship with self-acceptance. You will affirm to yourself that you are your greatest ally by offering yourself an unconditional love that is guaranteed and will never be withdrawn, no matter what!!!Learn More
